  • get the look – neat bun

Have you ever experienced that moment when you need to look good and chic but don’t have too much time? We’ve all been there… Next time, why not try this super shiny updo? It’s quick, easy and looks stunning. Just follow the steps below:

Steps by steps created in association with Your Hair magazine. Your Hair magazine is available from most good UK newsagents.

    1. Comb towel-dried hair into a side-parting. Smooth 1-2 pumps of L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil throughout the hair. Blowdry one inch sections of hair working from the nape of the neck and using a large, round bristle brush for volume. Repeat all over the head.

    2. Pin top sections of hair out of the way. Apply L’Oréal Professionnel tecni art Super Dust directly to the roots of the hair for height and volume.

    3. Secure the hair into a ponytail, leaving out a small section at the front of the head. Wrap the loose front section neatly around the ponytail.

    4. Wind the ponytail lengths into a loose bun, wrapping and pinning in place. Secure in place with L’Oréal Professionnel tecni art fix anti-frizz spray.

  • GET THE LOOK-VOLUME VIXEN

If you have long, curled hair, you will love this effortless and stylish look. All you need to do is follow the steps below.

Steps by steps created in association with Your Hair magazine. Your Hair magazine is available from most good UK newsagents.

    1. Apply L’Oréal Professionnel tecni art pli spray to damp hair and rough dry.

    2. Starting at the nape of the neck, wind 2 inch sections of hair onto heated rollers and secure in place to cool.

    3. Once the hair has completely cooled, unwind the curlers. Starting from the crown moving forward, backcomb the hair working behind the section so you don’t ruffle the hair too much.

    4. Curl any remaining straight sections with a barrel tong to get different-sized curls. Hold the style in place with L’Oréal Professionnel tecni art fix anti-frizz spray.

  • ID ARTIST – SHRUTY STEPHENSON

This week, we find out what inspires ID ARTIST Shruty Stephenson when interpreting L’Oréal Professionnel’s seasonal looks:

“For inspiration I always look at the L’Oréal season looks, and then interpret them by looking through editorial fashion magazines. I also look at architecture, to create cuts tailor made for my clients, and watch people walking past me on the streets, because sometimes you see really quirky people with their own styles. I then interpret them in my own way.”

Now in her second year of the programme, Shruty tels us what being an ID ARTIST has meant for her career:

“Being part of the ID programme, and being involved in events such as World Skills looks very good on your CV. But not only that; more than anything, it has fuelled my passion for hairdressing, and I want to learn more. Hopefully I will still have more opportunities to work in other events or training with L’Oréal. It has also boosted business in the salon, so much that we are relocating into the centre on a bigger scale.”

Wearing a classic winter layering look with a cosy cardy, lovely Rosie sets it all off with her fierce hair! Strong coloured dip dye at the end, 3 layers of colour: flame, ochre and brunette. Very different. Is this a look you would like to channel?

Cristina swings into winter with her geek chic: thick rimmed glasses, jumpsuit and snuggly parker jacket. Natural tousled hair with a touch of blonde. What do you think, good way to stay chic in winter?

Trendsetter was bedazzled by this striking silver look. It just goes to show that grey doesn’t have to mean ‘granny’ – more so silver and savvy with this on-trend and edgy look. Would you be bold enough to add a silver hue to your blonde tresses ?

We love Zahra’s gypsy inspired style! The pretty lace babydoll dress, tan satchel and cute gold accessories make a fabulously flirty look for Fall. With her brunette locks styled in a volumized half-up half-down look, the subtlety lightened ends add a touch of glamour to this relaxed and casual look.
What do you like most about her look?
